Culture Bank Personal Data Register

2. Purpose of the processing of personal data

The register is used to store data on the creators (service providers) and purchasers (service purchasers) of the service in question. The register also includes user account information (such as usernames and login details).

Professional cultural and arts associations, companies, cooperatives, small working groups, and individual professionals from the following regions may register as creators on the Culture Bank online service: Åland, South Karelia, South Ostrobothnia, South Savo, Kanta-HĂ€me, Kymenlaakso, Pirkanmaa, Ostrobothnia, North Karelia, North Ostrobothnia, PĂ€ijĂ€t-HĂ€me, Satakunta, Uusimaa, and Southwest Finland. Once the registration has been approved, the creator’s profile will become publicly visible in the online service.

Any individual or entity requiring cultural or artistic services may register as a purchaser. Profiles of purchasers will not be displayed publicly on the Culture Bank. The name and organisation of the purchaser will be shown only when the purchaser submits a request for quotation and/or a recommendation for a creator or service on the platform.

The Moderator is a regional operator of the Culture Bank online service, responsible for approving creators of culture and art within their own region into the Culture Bank online service in accordance with the jointly agreed criteria.

The Main Administrator is an employee of the body coordinating the Culture Bank online service (City of Tampere), responsible for the maintenance and content production of the online service.

Creators and Purchasers may request that their data be deleted from the service by contacting administration through the management view of their own profile.
